Can your toothbrush fight gum disease? 6-Week study investigates
NCT ID NCT06565897
Summary
This study tested how well different manual toothbrushes reduce plaque buildup and mild gum inflammation (gingivitis). 84 adults with existing plaque and gingivitis used the assigned toothbrush at home for 6 weeks. Researchers checked their plaque and gum health at 1, 3, and 6 weeks to see if the toothbrushes helped control these common dental issues.
