First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study explores transplanting a person's own tooth (like a wisdom tooth) to replace a missing one, instead of using an implant. The procedure uses a special blood clot (PRF) to help the tooth heal and stay healthy. Researchers will check for signs of healing, such as root resorption, tooth mobility, and gum health, in 5 participants over time.
