New dental technique aims to protect teeth during braces treatment

NCT ID NCT07458139

Summary

This study compares two methods for moving teeth during braces treatment to see which causes less damage to tooth roots. Researchers will work with 60 patients aged 12-30 who need braces and tooth extractions. They will measure whether a modified surgical technique causes different amounts of root shortening compared to the standard braces technique.
