Summary
This study looked at whether patients with prolonged aplasia (very low blood cell counts after chemotherapy) can safely brush their teeth instead of using only mouthwash. 76 patients in a protected hospital unit were observed to see if brushing caused bleeding or infections. The goal was to improve comfort without increasing risks.
