Summary
This study tests whether tolcapone, a drug currently used for Parkinson's disease, can safely reduce symptoms in adults with moderate to severe obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). About 49 participants will receive either tolcapone or a placebo to compare changes in OCD severity and thinking abilities. The goal is to see if this medication offers a new treatment option for OCD.
