Summary

This study tested a new program to help people living in public housing in Baltimore quit or reduce smoking. The program combined remote support from specialists, access to quit-smoking medicines, and on-site community leaders. 18 adult smokers who wanted to cut back or quit took part. The goal was to see if this approach was practical and could be used in other similar communities.
