Summary
This study looks at why homeless youth in Ottawa use tobacco, cannabis, and other substances together. Researchers will follow 520 at-risk youth aged 16 and older to understand their substance use patterns. Participants will receive a 6-month program with peer support and a mental health nurse to help reduce or quit substance use. The goal is to improve health equity and find better ways to support this community.
