Brain zapping may flush out Alzheimer's proteins

NCT ID NCT07192913

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests if a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called TMS can help the brain's natural waste-clearing system remove proteins linked to Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will study 20 older adults with mild cognitive impairment to see if TMS improves thinking and reduces harmful protein buildup. The goal is to understand if TMS can support brain health in early Alzheimer's.
