First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests two forms of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) in 60 adults whose depression hasn't improved with standard treatments. One method uses short bursts of magnetic pulses (iTBS), the other uses continuous pulses (cTBS). Both are given daily for two weeks, then participants are followed for 12 weeks to see which better reduces depression, anxiety, and sleep problems.
