Brain zaps aim to revive motivation in schizophrenia

Summary
This study tests a new type of brain stimulation (TMS) that targets three brain areas to help with negative symptoms of schizophrenia, such as lack of motivation and social withdrawal. The trial will include 64 people aged 16-45 with first-episode schizophrenia. Researchers will measure changes in symptom severity and thinking abilities before and after the treatment.
