NCT ID NCT07559084

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a new type of brain stimulation (TMS) that targets three brain areas to help with negative symptoms of schizophrenia, such as lack of motivation and social withdrawal. About 64 people with early-stage schizophrenia will receive either the real TMS or a sham version to see if it safely reduces these symptoms. The goal is to find a better way to treat symptoms that current medications often don't help.
