First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at how two different cleaning methods (laser and ultrasonic) affect the body's immune response during root canal retreatment for tooth infections. Researchers will measure certain immune markers in both healthy people and those with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to understand how diabetes might change the immune reaction to infection and treatment.
