NCT ID NCT07389772
First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at how two different ways of cleaning infected root canals—using a special laser or ultrasound—affect the body's immune signals in people with and without type 2 diabetes. Researchers will measure certain immune markers in fluid samples from the tooth and gums. The goal is to understand how these treatments influence the immune response, especially in diabetic patients, who may heal differently.
