Massive tissue repository launches to unlock secrets of childhood cancers

Summary

This study collects extra blood, urine, and tumor samples from children and adults with childhood cancers to create a large tissue bank. Researchers will use these samples to study the genes and proteins of these cancers. The goal is to better understand these diseases, not to test a new treatment. Over 6,000 participants are expected to join.
