First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple elastic wrap (tissue flossing) can safely and reliably restrict blood flow in the arm, similar to costly blood flow restriction devices. Researchers will measure blood flow, muscle size, and discomfort in 34 healthy adults. The goal is to see if this low-cost method could be a practical alternative for muscle strengthening.
