New study aims to cut nausea from weight-loss drug without sacrificing results
NCT ID NCT07574723
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a flexible, symptom-guided dosing plan for tirzepatide can reduce nausea and vomiting in adults with obesity who do not have diabetes. About 68 participants will be randomly assigned to either the standard dosing schedule or a flexible approach that allows small dose increases based on how well they tolerate the drug. The goal is to see if the flexible plan causes fewer stomach-related side effects while still helping people lose weight effectively.
