New diabetes drug tirzepatide shows promise in chinese patients

Summary
This study tested the drug tirzepatide in 206 Chinese adults with type 2 diabetes who were not on other diabetes medicines. The goal was to see if tirzepatide could lower blood sugar levels better than a placebo. Participants took tirzepatide or a dummy pill for several weeks, and researchers measured changes in a key blood sugar marker called HbA1c.
