Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether tirzepatide, a drug used for diabetes, can help people with alcohol use disorder reduce their cravings for alcohol. Twenty adults will receive weekly injections of either tirzepatide or a placebo for 4 weeks. The goal is to see if the drug lowers cue-triggered cravings and is safe to use for this condition.
