Blood thinner may boost ovarian cancer treatment

Summary
This study tests whether adding a blood thinner called tinzaparin to standard chemotherapy can help fight advanced ovarian cancer. Researchers will measure changes in a tumor marker (CA-125) and other health indicators in 40 women with stage III-IV disease. The goal is to see if tinzaparin has anti-cancer effects in humans, building on earlier lab and animal studies.
