Summary
This study tests an experimental implant that sends tiny electrical signals to the hearing nerve to reduce the loudness of chronic tinnitus (ringing in the ears). It is for adults with moderate to severe tinnitus who have normal to moderately severe hearing loss. The implant is placed under the skin behind the ear, and participants will be followed for 6 months to see if their tinnitus gets quieter and less bothersome.
