NCT ID NCT06805396

First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether offering a palliative care consultation early, when patients with bone metastases start radiotherapy, improves their care satisfaction and quality of life. About 246 adults with advanced cancer and bone pain will be randomly assigned to either get this extra support or standard care. The goal is to see if timely palliative care reduces symptoms and helps patients feel more supported.
