First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This pilot study tested a new combination treatment for people with advanced melanoma that has spread. It combined immune cells grown from the patient's own tumor (called TILs) with an immunotherapy drug called ipilimumab. The goal was to see if this approach was safe and feasible. Thirteen participants were enrolled, and the study measured side effects and how many people could complete the treatment.
