Could your own immune cells fight advanced liver and pancreatic cancers?
NCT ID NCT05098197
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new treatment for people with advanced liver or pancreatic cancers that have not responded to standard therapies. The treatment uses a patient's own immune cells, called tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), which are taken from a tumor sample, multiplied in a lab, and then given back to the patient. The goal is to see if this personalized cell therapy is safe and can shrink tumors or slow disease progression.
