New ultrasound technique could help doctors spot dangerous thyroid nodules

Summary
This study looks at the tiny blood vessels inside thyroid nodules using a special ultrasound technique. Researchers hope to find patterns that help tell harmless nodules from those that need surgery. About 50 people with thyroid nodules and healthy volunteers will take part. The goal is to improve how doctors decide who needs an operation.
