Summary
This study looked at how often thyroid problems (specifically an underactive thyroid) occur in people with HIV. Researchers reviewed medical records of 154 HIV-positive adults who were treated at a French hospital between 2001 and 2012. The goal was to get a clearer picture of thyroid health in this group, without testing any new treatments.
