Radioactive treatment tested for hidden thyroid cancer
NCT ID NCT07453225
Summary
This study is testing whether giving radioactive iodine treatment helps thyroid cancer patients who have elevated cancer markers in their blood but no visible tumors on standard scans. The research will involve 100 adults who have already had thyroid surgery and initial radioactive iodine treatment. Doctors want to see if this additional treatment lowers the cancer marker levels and helps control the disease.
