Summary
This study looks at how the thyroid and adrenal glands work in 200 ICU patients with septic shock, a life-threatening infection that causes organ failure. Researchers will measure hormone levels in the blood to see if these glands are affected. No new treatments are tested—the goal is simply to gather information.
