NCT ID NCT07569874
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing a new laser surgery approach for men with small prostates that still cause bothersome urinary symptoms. The goal is to see if combining two laser techniques reduces the risk of the bladder neck tightening after surgery, which can block urine flow. About 426 men aged 40 to 80 will be randomly assigned to one of three surgical methods and followed for six months to compare outcomes like symptom relief and side effects.
