First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving clot-busting drugs (thrombolysis) to people with moderate-to-high risk lung blood clots and low bleeding risk can reduce deaths within 30 days. Researchers tracked 100 patients to see if the treatment lowered death rates and how often serious bleeding occurred. The goal was to find a safer way to treat dangerous blood clots in the lungs.
