First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at how common chemicals in air, food, and personal care products affect our skin, gut, and lungs. Healthy adults aged 18 to 80 will stay in a hospital room for two separate 7-day periods—one in a 'pure' room with filtered air and simple products, and another with typical environmental exposures. Researchers will collect samples and run tests to measure changes in the body.
