First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at how attention and mind wandering affect obsessive thoughts in people with OCD. Researchers compared 80 participants (with and without OCD) using a special questionnaire called the THOUGHTS-scale. The goal was to see if obsessions change depending on whether a person is in an active or passive situation. This is an observational study, not a treatment trial.
