First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding extra treatments to standard shoulder exercises could help people with shoulder pain (subacromial pain syndrome). 75 adults did shoulder exercises for 3 weeks. One group also did back (thoracic) extension exercises, and another group had kinesio tape applied to their back. The study measured pain, function, strength, and quality of life before and after the program to see if the extra treatments made a difference.
