Summary
This study aims to translate and test a Chinese thirst safety management protocol for ICU patients in Taiwan and Brazil. Researchers will enroll 120 patients who are recovering from breathing tubes or tracheotomies and are alert enough to communicate. The goal is to see if the protocol can reduce thirst intensity, a common discomfort in the ICU.
