Summary
This study tests a translated safety protocol to help relieve intense thirst in ICU patients after their breathing tube is removed. Researchers will enroll 120 adults in Taiwan and Brazil who are awake and can communicate in Chinese. The goal is to see if the protocol reduces thirst intensity using a simple 0-to-10 scale.
