Summary
This study looked at whether giving thiamine (vitamin B1) for 28 days after a heart procedure helps the left side of the heart recover in children with certain heart defects. The study included 86 children aged 6 months to 18 years. Researchers measured heart structure and function using echocardiograms and blood tests to see if thiamine made a difference.
