First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether teaching ThetaHealing meditation to first-time pregnant women can help reduce their pain and fear during labor. Forty healthy women in their first pregnancy will learn the meditation method before birth and use it during labor. Researchers will also use an EEG device to see if meditation changes brain waves, aiming to make childbirth more comfortable and encourage vaginal delivery.
