Summary
This study tested a procedure called radiofrequency ablation, which uses heat to destroy small thyroid cancers (papillary thyroid microcarcinoma). 27 adults who did not want surgery or active monitoring took part. The main goal was to see if the cancer disappeared on ultrasound and cell tests 24 months after treatment, while also tracking side effects.
