Can talking it out change your gut? therapy study seeks answers

NCT ID NCT07200531

Summary

This study is exploring whether six weeks of group therapy can change the types of bacteria living in the gut of women experiencing chronic stress. Researchers want to understand the connection between mental health and the gut microbiome. About 30 women will attend weekly therapy sessions and provide stool samples before and after the program to see if any changes occur.
