Can talking it out change your gut? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07200531
Summary
This study aims to understand if chronic stress is linked to gut bacteria and whether six weeks of group therapy can change them. Researchers will enroll 30 women who will attend weekly therapy sessions and provide stool samples before and after. The goal is to gather knowledge about the connection between mental health and the gut, not to provide a treatment.
