Blood pressure cuff may spot hidden heart condition
NCT ID NCT07442175
First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special blood pressure monitor (TH-75) can accurately detect atrial fibrillation, a common heart rhythm problem. About 392 adults—some with AF and some without—will use the monitor, and its results will be compared to a standard heart test. If successful, this could make it easier to catch AF during routine blood pressure checks.
