Blood pressure cuff may spot hidden heart rhythm problem

NCT ID NCT07442175

First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study checks if a special blood pressure monitor (TH-75) can accurately detect atrial fibrillation, a common heart rhythm problem. About 392 adults with and without atrial fibrillation will use the monitor, and its results will be compared to a standard heart test. If accurate, this could make screening for AF easier during routine blood pressure checks.
