Doctors look back: how did a new asthma drug perform in real patients?
NCT ID NCT07013760
Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 420 patients in Spain who received the asthma medication tezepelumab after it became available to the public. The goal was to understand the real-world characteristics of these patients and see how the treatment affected their asthma control, symptoms, and quality of life in routine care, not a controlled trial. Researchers collected data on patient backgrounds, asthma attacks, and various health questionnaires to assess the drug's impact.
