NCT ID NCT04298450

First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tested whether sending text message reminders helps young people (ages 14-35) with psychosis attend their first appointment at an early psychosis clinic after being seen in the emergency room. Researchers enrolled 186 participants and tracked who showed up. The goal was to see if a low-cost, youth-friendly tool like texting can improve access to mental health care.
