Text messages vs doctor visits: new approach to help new Moms' mental health
NCT ID NCT05764213
Summary
This study compares two ways to screen pregnant and postpartum people for mental health and substance use issues. One group uses text messages for screening and treatment referrals, while the other uses standard in-person screening. Researchers want to see which approach helps more people attend and stay in treatment programs. The study involves over 10,000 pregnant participants who complete questionnaires during and after pregnancy.
