Summary
This pilot study tested a text-based reward system to help 20 adults stick with their smoking cessation plan. Participants received texts encouraging them to complete quitline counseling calls and take their medication (varenicline). The goal was to see if this approach was feasible and acceptable for helping people quit smoking.
