Wristband vs. cuff: the blood pressure monitoring showdown
NCT ID NCT05780710
Summary
This study is testing a new, wrist-worn blood pressure monitor (Aktiia) to see if it works as well as a standard home blood pressure cuff. About 35 adults with high blood pressure will wear the wrist monitor for 4 to 19 weeks while also using a cuff. The goal is to see if the convenient wrist device gives readings that are just as accurate as the traditional method.
