Electric zaps to the brain aim to ease depression and pain

Summary

This study tests a non-drug treatment called transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) for people who have both depression and chronic pain. 240 adults will receive either real or sham brain stimulation for 2 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in pain and mood to see if this approach works and how it affects the brain.
