Can zapping every tumor spot stop prostate cancer in its tracks?

Summary
This study tests whether adding precise, high-dose radiation to each metastatic lesion (SABR MDT) alongside standard hormone therapy and prostate radiation can improve outcomes for men whose prostate cancer has spread to a few spots (oligometastatic). About 122 men with 1-5 asymptomatic bone or soft tissue metastases will be randomly assigned to standard care alone or standard care plus SABR MDT. The main goal is to see if this combination delays cancer progression at 2 years.
