Tensegrity massage: a new twist on muscle therapy?

NCT ID NCT06493149

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a massage technique based on the tensegrity principle (how parts of the body work together as a connected system) can improve muscle function. Fifty-four healthy men aged 19-24 received either the special massage or no treatment. Researchers measured muscle properties like stiffness and contraction speed before and after to see if the massage made a difference.
