Zap the pain? electrical device tested for labor induction discomfort

NCT ID NCT07494539

Summary

This study is testing whether a TENS device, which uses mild electrical pulses through skin pads, can help manage pain during labor induction. Researchers will enroll 132 pregnant women undergoing induction and randomly assign them to receive either the TENS device plus standard pain care or standard care alone. The main goal is to see if using TENS reduces or delays the need for an epidural during the induction process.
